India is known for its agriculture and for growing different types of fruits in abundance. These fruits are exported across the globe to earn some international profit. And this has made space for the artificial drinks market to spread its roots. These drinks have cola flavor an offer no health benefits at all. In recent years, naturally extracted juice is being packaged and sold to make money. The very benefit is that you can get the goodness of the fruit instead of spending money on the fizzy drinks which won’t give you any health benefits.

The Indian packaged juice industry has an estimated value of $220 million and it is estimated to growth at the CAGR of 15 to 20% for the time period of three years. From the last ten years, the industry has seen massive success with the CAGR of 30%. This has become the fastest growing sector in the beverages market. The industry is divided into three categories which are fruit drinks, fruit juices and nectar drinks. The last sector is still struggling to get huge success as only 10% of the market is covered up with nectar drink section.

Fruit drinks segment leads the market as it has largest selling in the area. Fruit drinks are those beverages which have around 30% fruits and rests are preservatives. Frooti, Mazaa and Jumpin are the three leading companies/brands which cover most of the segment. Mirinda and Fanta are following these three brands. Fruit juices contain 100% fruit juices and it has huge space in the market. it has total 30% of shares in the market and has a promising growth in near future. There is no doubt if the fruit juice segment will rule the market in coming few years.
